Yes, its easy to get around Dubai WHAT I DIDNT LIKE 1. A lot of poor quality goods from mainly china have flooded the market. This impacts negatively on the local market.

We had barely an evening in Dubai. We wanted to make sure that we went to the Gold Souk, and were able to do that. There were so many shops to visit! It looked like there were several fun activities and nightlife going on that we were unable to join simply due to time constraints. I was conned by some Indians and lost AED 7000. They people sold me weight loss powder and stole my money on my credit card. I hate Dubai for that as I called the Police but no action. I even had the phone number of the person but to no avail. I find that a country that wants to attract tourism should punish such dishonest individuals and protect tourist.

The hotel was very nice and the staff helpful and friendly. There wasn’t much in the area though so I needed to catch taxis to places. In hindsight, I would have stayed at the Radisson Blu in the old town. However, the view from my room of Burj Khalifa and the waterfront was stunning. We really enjoyed our visit and all the excursions we had to various attractions. We would definitely recommend visiting Burj Khalifa and the Mall of the Emirates, the night boat ride (was fantastic), the butterfly gardens, the aquarium and the global gardens, the desert safari and the day visit to Abu Dhabi. It is a very clean and safe city with many activities and sightseeing. Taxi is needed in most of the cases, however prices are not very expensive and are negotiable. Online ticket booking is advised so as to avoid long lines and waiting in some attractions. The visitor should be mindful of high temperatures but all buildings and transportation have air conditioning. Cash and credit cards widely accepted. Heavy traffic on many occasions but this is understandable. The marina can get overcrowded, though it was fine with us.ΜΜωρος

We did, after we managed to change the room. Otherwise is hell. They work 24/7. The hotel has a very good location, near JBR walk and Marina walk The beach is very nice. The room is also very nice with very comfortable beds, a balcony and fantastic views. You can easily get a RTA taxi ( the public, cheap taxis) from the roundabout next to the hotel. I think this hotel is one of the best option in Dubai.
