We came second time to Fecamp and also booked the same hotel second time, because location is perfect, just 1-2 min to the beach, rooms size is good, rooms are equipped. Both times we visited in autumn, rooms are warm and nice. We found parking spot just in from of the hotel, very convenient. Person who met us both times were nice and helpful. Very clean rooms. Really nice experience. This time we even got upgrade and ended up with nice room with ocean view and bathroom with a window to it.

Very nice B & B. It’s been beautifully appointed by Marc (the owner/proprieter) with art work & antique masks from his travels. He has decorated the rooms by theme.
Our room was on the 2nd floor - so quite a climb up with bags. Marc helped us with those.
Our room was large & very comfortable. Marc has put in very nice features including a shower with multiple jets.
The B&B was very quiet. Breakfast was delicious & Marc was a most gracious & interesting host. Parking is available in a lot just across the street.
Fecamp is a working town, with a harbour and beach.
Fecamp is a working town, with a harbour and beach. The town is compact, with a general selection of shops. We found the location perfect for walks along the cliffs, visiting gardens and eating out. Visit the old abbey where Benedictine was made; it has a lovely cocktail bar in an atrium, with accompanying shop. Also, a lovely walk to visit Les Jardins de Louanne & K. which are worth visiting. Le Jardin de Etretat is about half an hours drive away.

We came to Fécamp so that we could visit the Palais Benedictine which was definitely worth it. Fécamp is an interesting port town. We unfortunately had terrible weather so it dulled our trip a bit.
We arrived latish (9:30pm) in a terrible storm & found that the restaurants which were supposed to be open til 11pm closed at 10pm. We ended up finding a bar that had food so we were able to get something.
We walked around Fécamp the next morning, then visited the Palais. As soon as our tour was over we drove to Veules-les-Roses (suggestion of the Fécamp tourist bureau) for the late afternoon & dinner before returning to Fécamp. We stayed 2 nights in Fécamp. In retrospect it may have been better to stay 1 night or visit the Palais from another locale. But with better weather we would have probably enjoyed our time there more.

Quiet place (April), free parking.
Quiet place (April), free parking. Visit Palais Bénedictine (or just buy a bottle of B&B!). Make sure to walk to the upper town centre which is different from the coastal area. Large super market Carrefour at walking distance. For families with children: MacDonalds and Buffalo Grill (5 minute drive to Saint-Leonard).

A charming seaside village that is rich in local and maritime history. There is an abundance of attractions that include chapels, abbeys, cathedrals, an exceptionally good maritime museum and numerous easy walks along the beach or the spectacular Côte de Alabastero.

Lovely little town, everything is just a walk away.
Lovely little town, everything is just a walk away. The fishing museum is also a museum of Fecamp and its region and an art gallery, with visiting exhibitions. Take the lift to the top floor for the best views. Really, really interesting and a bargain at 7 euros
100% you have to go to the Palais de Benedictine, it's amazing and right in the heart of town. Samples on offer and a cocktail bar onsite.
Plenty of restaurants at all prices, along the waterfront and Le Rex near St Stephen's Church.
I'm sorry there was no time to go to the Abbey - bags of history there.
And it wasn't beach weather in October but I'll be there next time.

A beautiful city with so much history!
A beautiful city with so much history! Try a dish with salted cod; its a locale thing. Also make certain you take the time to visit Benedictine Abbey!! Make reservations for a tour there LONG before you arrive or you wont get in. If you miss the tour, visit the tasting room and/or the bar. The bar staff can open the shop for you to buy items after hours :) There are few restaurants open to serve meals after 9pm, but there is a place directly across the canal from the Hotel Le Grand Pavois that serves inside and out until 11pm. Food is good but, the portions are HUGE... you can share.
Location is excellent and staff very professional. Building itself is rich in history and you certainly will enjoy the quirkiness of the place. Perfect base for Fécamp and the area. Quick access to places like Étretat and other places of interest. Right in central Fécamp... no need for an alarm clock as church bells wake you up...( mind you.. 8:00 am is not too early... so should not be taken as a problem) actually we found it romantic! Super place! Food is great and friendly service.
Very clean, comfortable house, providing facilities like washing machine and basic kitchen stuff: salt, oil, coffee filters, dish washing liquid etc. Good place for a family stay. Chose to the market place with groceries, cafés and artisan shops, huge Carrefour drive in supermaket is also nearby. Enough space for a family, calm neighborhood.
Excellent stay.Host spoilt us with a free bottle of wine in the fridge.Allowed us free use of washing machine and tumble dryer.Nice kitchen.Free garaged parking. Large living area and garden with exceptional views over the town, bay and cliffs. Very responsive and supportive to guests.A highlight on our 5 week trip in France!
The apartment is clean and spacious. Because of traffic, we arrived too late, but the host made it very easy for us to pick up the keys. The location is perfect and has a very nice view. The kitchen is well-equipped. If we came back to Fecamp we would choose this apartment again. Hell, I would even like to live there :)
The position. We enjoyed being able to walk into Fécamp in the evening for a drink or a meal. It was about a 10 to 15 minute walk. Also the parking was easy as the road outside was quiet in the evening. We liked being near a working port as there was always something to view; a moving picture.
Utterly beautiful hotel. Exemplary facility. Clean, comfortable and modern. First Class accommodation and staff. The rooms were well appointed and the view of the harbor was lovely. Breakfast was very good with a lot of excellent choices. I would stay there again and again.
The room is so big, it is more an apartment rather than a hotel room. There are two big bedrooms and a huge bathroom. We asked for a sea view room and we had wonderful views from all windows. It's only a few meters from the beach and the port. The area is really beautiful.
Great locality with nearby free parking. Check the wifi password right behind the door before you go upstairs :-) otherwise you'd give up searching. Big dinning table and nice kitchen. Towels and sheets on demand - no problem with communication/payment.
Location is just perfect, near the beach and very close to the best restaurants, staff was extremely pleasant and supportive, I really enjoyed staying in this hotel and felt myself as I'm at home:)
Beautiful and bright apartment. Magnificent view. Central location. Good restaurants and bakeries nearby. Well-equipped (washing machine, cutleries, coffee machine, etc.)
The room was comfortable and clean, but a bit small.A quiet place with a nice view from the window. There are stores near to the hotel. For the price, a good option.
We enjoyed this place and wished we had more time. The location was convenient and the WiFi was great. We hope to return again with more time in Normandy.
