Great room nice location opposite the beach. Parking outside close to the building. Friendly staff. I loved my stay in Finikounda.

The hotel deserve its 4 stars, is very fancy, modern, the room and the bad were large, the bed was very comfy, the breakfast rich and tasty, the staff very friendly and helpful, even in the night time. We had drinks for free in the fridge of the room and free capuccino and espresso at breakfast, things that you don`t get usually in others hotels in Greece. Closed to the beautiful sandy beach. Very clean and the price was fair. The best hotel in the area. We decided to stay again and longer next year.

What a wonderful place and hosts, my family were really happy and sad to leave, we had a middle sized room with two extra sofas, that was fine as we was out all of the time, the kids ( twins 9) slept well and were comfortable. The room was clean and tidy , no bad smells or things not working, the shower is very powerful, but it takes time for the hot water to arrive.
We had a simply Fantastic view over the town, worth staying here just for that.
Nice balcony where you can sit out and have a glass of wine.
Swimming pool was bigger than I expected and was hard to get the kids to come out, there is also a small kids playground there for babies and middle aged kids, again mine went before breakfast and all you could here was laughing.
Great value for money and 100% we will go again as we only live 90 mins away.
I read all of the previous comments and would like to help other guests.
There are only 2 dirt tracks to this place, one is fine another I would not attempt. I understand why people have had problems here as The navigator cannot find a way to get to the hotel as obviously Google has not been on these small roads, you will get lost.
So to make it simple, coming from the Kalamata direction take the first turn on the first roundabout, this will take on a normal road which winds and turns, after a while you will go past Panorama hotel, keep driving for I guess 300 metres , do not turn left keep straight. Then there will be a building materials place on the right. keep going straight but slow down. On the Left you will see a small concrete block wall, at the the end of that wall you go down the Dirt track. there is a really tiny sign on the pole there, easy to miss. Its about 400 metres down the track then up a sharp incline and you are there. hope that helps.
We had a fabulous breakfast, but its a Greek breakfast , so Dakos, different pies and cakes, jams, honey etc, very tasty yoghurt that you need to ask for. there no cheese or meat etc as its a Greek thing.

It felt very Greek, it was compact but there were more than enough bars and restaurants to choose from. Ideal for couples and families, and not a loud and brash resort but with plenty of places to have a relaxing cocktail with lovely views before dinner. We had been put off one place because the board seemed to be a snack bar - "club sandwiches and burgers" advertised but discovered that it was the best place for cocktails and that they grew their tomatoes etc. - the salads looked great We also liked the bar furthest away from the harbour where we got a sunbed and a free drink for 5 Euros. Finikounta is easy to explore on foot but talking to "regulars" there is a lot to see in the surrounding areas so would hire a car next time.

Typical small Greek resort.
Typical small Greek resort. Several tavernas with excellent food reasonably priced. Scattering of tourist shops, bakers and supermarkets. Mainly Greek tourists which gives it a laid back authentic vibe.

For me it’s perfect, not a big touristy area but plenty of good restaurants, a supermarket and above all a stunning bay with crystal clear sea to swim in. There are several places to visit nearby if you have a car: Methoni, Koroni, Poliminio waterfalls

Second time to resort this summer and will definitely be back. Very chilled out and easy. Only small bay, 15 minutes stroll from one end of bay to other but plenty tavernas and bars. Bays either side within walking distance and Lemondrops beach bar particularly good. Bus ride to Methoni and Pylos also worth doing and stunning views from Methoni Castle, a must!! Just check times of buses back! Finidriving, Finibikes, Oinyses food is great but to be fair we’ve never had a bad meal anywhere. Was described to us as a gem of a place and it is but shhhh don’t tell anyone! Enjoy

It was a lively resort without being too commercial.
It was a lively resort without being too commercial. On the whole, the food at the restaurants was excellent, and there is no surpassing the Greek value-for-money. The beaches were lovely and very child-friendly.

It is beautiful, Greek island feel on the mainland.
It is beautiful, Greek island feel on the mainland. Beautiful scenery with amazing historical sites in close proximity. Amazing choice of beaches (best being Mavrovouno with its sandy beach, crystal clear waters - perfect for kids). Good amenities and lots of good eateries - some excellent restaurants, particularly off the beaten track. It has water sports, boat trips, horse riding, or you can do absolutely nothing. The waterfront is beautiful at night. We love it.
Spacious apartment, comfort, varied breakfast with local ingredients, close to the beaches, although I think the pool is a better solution here, the sea is too cold even though the sun shines for days. Recommended for parents with small children.During our stay, we forgot our laptop in the room and traveled further. The reception very kindly informed us that we had forgotten the device in their hotel, and that we could pick it up at the reception. I greet Mrs. Tatjana, txs.
We were there in mid-October, when the tourist season was practically over, and a lot of the amenities were closed. Our ratings would probably have been more favourable if we had been there in the summer, as this looks like a very nice hotel with a nice pool, right on the beach. Unfortunately when we were there the pool was too cold to use, and the restaurant was closed. I think we were the only guests in the entire hotel, as we did not see anyone else other than the staff.
Staff were extremely helpful and nice. Hotel has beautiful views. Rooms are big with balconies. Clean service is also very good. There is a nice swimming pool with lovely pool bar. The resort is close to city center of Finikounta and very good base for car trips. We were satisfied also with breakfast which offers varieties of different tastes. In our opinion Hotel offers very good price to quality proportion.
George and his family made us feel so welcome with their kindness and amazing Greek hospitality.
Our room was spotlessly clean with everything you needed and more - the olive oil handwash and shampoo was just lovely.
The view from our balcony was glorious looking over the bay at Finikounta which was just a short walk down to the beach and all the tavernas. Fantastic location.
Can't wait to return!
The hotel is simple yet comfortable, and incredibly well located in front of an outstanding beach. The owners are charming and very kind. The area is really well serviced with restaurants and shops. We wanted to stay in Methoni but we didn’t find accommodation there, and after visiting it from Finikounta I would strongly recommend this alternative.
A beautiful restored old cottage with a well kept spacious garden, all to ourselves! The location is perfect because it's in a quiet village, about a 3' car ride away from Finikounta. Equipped with everything you would need for a quiet and relaxing vacation. The hosts are extremely nice and helpful.
The apartment is located only few meters from the sea and the road where are all the restaurants, cafe and shops. There is a big supermarket beside where you can buy anything you need. Very important also that there is free parking place across the hotel.
Beautiful hotel within walking distance from the beach and town. Welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Nice ambiance in the studio and very clean. Good size balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the bay. Good swimming pool.
lovely hotel our room spacious and bright
cleaned everyday - breakfast pre ordered and delivered on time to your apartment - we had a kitchenette table chairs - as well as a balcony etc
What I liked about this hotel, was that it was generally clean and it was located near the beach. Also, there was a small functioning refrigerator, A/C and flat TV.
