This isn't your average, American park ! You'll want to stay there at least a couple hours (or more) to really enjoy it. Bring food and plan a picnic there. Also, enjoy the various modes of transportation (scooters, bikes, horse carriages) to enjoy the park road and explore this immense space.

    It’s beautiful.

It’s beautiful. Our 2nd time there, 1st being in early Fall & things more green, flowers still in bloom, sunny warm day. This time a bit drizzly & grey, fountains closed down but it was still a peaceful enjoyable walk. Bring your own snacks & drinks

We had a very expensive but lovely horse and carriage ride well worth a visit. I would probably do the walking tour and go later in the year so that it was green. We went in March and it was void of all leaves.

We went just after the pandemic so the park was overgown and filled with homeless people. I am not one to say that people trying to exist is an eyesore. It was just sad that they had to live there. Still a beautiful park.

The north part of the park from the 90th street and up has a more natural and wild landscape which is really lovely, especially in the spring with all the daffodils and crocuses flowering - it’s gorgeous! A little more south, around the 70’th streets you can get to the reservoir and walk around. Gorgeous place to spend a morning walk or an afternoon, there are paths for bicycles and roller

It is such a breath of fresh air - quite literally! As a Londoner with easy access to Hyde Park and many others, I did not thing I would be as impressed as I was walking through the park, but I could not have been more mistaken! It was a lovely break from the city and such a peaceful experience walking all the way from the Lower West side to the Upper East side and took a lot less time to cover so much ground that I thought! I would highly recommend renting a bike if you're feeling like getting a little bit more exercise and covering more ground. Cannot wait to go back!

If you stay here it feels like an nyc apartment building. You hear some noises that you would hear in a prewar building. I’m from nyc so that is fine with me. Very attentive staff. My favorite neighborhood. Central Park close by.

Cleanliness and well maintained. Excellent location: nearby metro stop for 1 line was easy connection to family in West Village. Also bus stops close to hotel to connect you to other parts of the city. Plenty of restaurants, breakfast spots, and shopping within walking distance. And of course, the proximity to Central Park. Room size was better than some NYC hotel rooms I've stayed in. Checking in and out was a breeze. I always felt safe returning to my the hotel at night.
