Definitely a perfect couples get away. We love the inside decor and the bed was so comfortable. Even though it was cold and raining we still enjoyed the hot tub outside on the deck. If we lived in France we would be back!!

The location was idyllic and the staff could not be more attentive. Our room was most definitely one of the most beautiful rooms we have stayed in. The attention to detail was fantastic and the wines were superb. The Lalique furniture and pieces around the hotel were exquisite. We were made to feel extremely welcome. We ate at La terrasse which I booked because we wanted to eat outside. If the food here was anything to go by we would definitely book the restaurant next time we stay. The Terrasse staff were great and made our dining experience very enjoyable. We took a tasting whilst here and learned a lot about Sauternes wine. We even took some home with us. I highly recommend the food pairing tasting. Breakfast was lovely (especially the little crème brûlée and the panna cotta) Check in and check out was very easy and again, the staff were very helpful. We cannot like this property enough and cannot wait to rebook.

The check in process was easy even though we arrived at almost midnight. A very sweet young man named Tom helped us get our heavy bags (due to a river cruise after this stay) to our room. There was a personal welcome note in the room. Every night there was a little something on the pillow in the room with turn down service. The room had a wonderful shower with two separate shower heads in a larger shower. Amenity products in the bath were very nice with a soft fresh scent. The beds were marvelous with nice duvet which made sleeping very nice and comfortable. Our housekeeper, Oceane, was a true delight! The breakfast was extremely large and quite wonderfully served fresh by Nicolas and Marine daily, who were lovely and helped us learn a few words of French while practicing their English. A very professional and helpful staff member named Gilles gave us a tour around the property on day one, which included seeing the two beautiful horses on the property (Shippee and Azul- certain that is not how they are spelled in French). The tour included taking us to the wellness spa set in the woods on the property. We were given a complimentary wine tasting in the afternoon on day one of the stay, and discovered the wonderful wines of Chateau Léognan. There was a small happy hour daily with a bottle of wine and bottle of red from the Chateau along with mixed nuts for the guests in the dining area of the Chateau. We discovered the charming two story restaurant on the property for our lunches and dinner. The food was a gastronomic experience, and the wait staff were very helpful and attentive. The smoked beef tenderloin and chicken were truly a savory experience. We took advantage of the wellness spa with its jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms, along with the services of facials, body scrubs and massages. Both therapists were professional and assisted us in having a greatly needed and very relaxing experience.

Weniger als 5,6 km von Zoo de Bordeaux-Pessac und 10 km von Kathedrale von Bordeaux entfernt in Mérignac gelegen, bietet die Unterkunft Escale Kennedy Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einer Terrasse,... Wir wurden ausserordentlich freundlich empfangen, die Dame am Empfang hat freundlicherweise auf uns gewartet, obwohl wir erst nach den Öffnungszeiten (bis 19 Uhr) ankamen (23:30 Uhr) - es wurde diesbezüglich ein Zuschlag von 20€ angerechnet, was sicher völlig okay ist. Überrascht waren wir, dass in der Unterkunft direkt am Haupteingang die Straßenschuhe ausgezogen werden, das gesamte Etablissement ist mit Teppich ausgelegt, es fühlte sich deswegen sauber an. Den Lärm von draußen hörte man nicht, obwohl das Hotel direkt an der Straße ist und der Flughafen nur 2 Autominuten (10 Gehminuten) entfernt ist. Die Tram-Haltestelle ist sozusagen direkt vor der Haustür. Die Gemeinschaftsräume wie Küche und Speiseraum/Aufenthaltsraum sind sauber, strukturiert und ordentlich.

Fußläufig zum Flughafen, Shuttle wird auch angeboten. Die Tram fährt an Werktagen alle 10 Minuten ins Zentrum. Der Pool auf dem Dach und der Fittnessraum waren super! Versorgung mit Kaffee (Nespresso) und Tee (Wasserkocher) im Zimmer. Sehr sauber und gepflegt das ganze Hotel. Sehr nettes Personal! Gerne wieder.
